Project Manager. Software Developer. Photographer. Loyal human to my beloved dogs, Libby & Louie.
My professional career started with working project management for software development programs in the Air Force. Upon leaving the military, I went on to work outdoor education and became a Park Ranger in the Bureau of Land Management. As a Ranger I worked wildland fire response and collected field data for integration into SQL databases. After a long walk in the woods, I decided to pursue Software Development and made the career-switch by attending an immersive Software Engineering bootcamp through General Assembly. I now work as a remote Software Developer and Technical Project Manager and obtained my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through the Project Management Institute in 2024. I am also an MBA candidate at the University of Portland's Pamplin School of Business and am a Professional Photographer.
After spending almost a decade exploring the states, I've rooted myself in Portland, Oregon. I now spend my free time wandering the woods with my partner and our pups, drinking iced coffee, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. You can often find me singing 80's hits in my 4Runner, sharing bad puns with the unsuspecting, or napping on warm rocks to appease my inner-lizard. I'm also a Professional Photographer and appreciate all forms of artistic expression.
